About Me

Hi, I’m Sarah, a freelance writer based in Western North Carolina. Writing has been in my job description for most of my working life and was a big part of my former role as an associate at a small law firm in Boone, North Carolina. (So many research memos and briefs!)

These days, I write for corporate, nonprofit, and solopreneur clients—mostly communications and public relations content. And I’m a contributor at Rethink:Rural, where I write about hunting, land management, rural entrepreneurship, and related lifestyle topics.

When I’m not writing, I’m hunting or fishing with my husband, strength training, reading nonfiction, or cooking venison burrito bowls for dinner. :)
